وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ ٣
Walaqad fatannal-ladheena min qablihim falaya`lamannallaahul-ladheena sadaqoo walaya`lamannal-kaadhibeen
But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allāh will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allâh will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allâh knows all that before putting them to test).
Lo! We tested those who were before you. Thus Allah knoweth those who are sincere, and knoweth those who feign
We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false
ان سے اگلوں کو بھی ہم نے خوب جانچا ۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں بھی جان لے گا جو سچ کہتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی معلوم کرلے گا جو جھوٹے ہیں.
Dan sungguh, Kami telah menguji orang-orang sebelum mereka, maka Allah pasti mengetahui orang-orang yang benar dan pasti mengetahui orang-orang yang dusta.
আর অবশ্যই আমরা এদের পূর্ববর্তীদেরকেও পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম; অতঃপর আল্লাহ্ অবশ্যই প্রকাশ করে দেবেন কারা সত্যবাদী এবং তিনি অবশ্যই প্ৰকাশ করে দেবেন কারা মিথ্যাবাদী।
