Surah Al-A'raf Ayah 172 (7:172)

And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam’s loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this."

And (remember) when thy Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their reins, their seed, and made them testify of themselves, (saying): Am I not your Lord? They said: Yea, verily. We testify. (That was) lest ye should say at the Day of Resurrection: Lo! of this we were unaware

When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "Of this we were never mindful

اور جب آپ کے رب نے اوﻻد آدم کی پشت سے ان کی اوﻻد کو نکالا اور ان سے ان ہی کے متعلق اقرار لیا کہ کیا میں تمہارا رب نہیں ہوں؟ سب نے جواب دیا کیوں نہیں! ہم سب گواه بنتے ہیں ۔ تاکہ تم لوگ قیامت کے روز یوں نہ کہو کہ ہم تو اس سے محض بے خبر تھے۔

Dan (ingatlah) ketika Tuhanmu mengeluarkan dari sulbi (tulang belakang) anak cucu Adam keturunan mereka dan Allah mengambil kesaksian terhadap roh mereka (seraya berfirman), "Bukanlah Aku ini Tuhanmu?" Mereka menjawab, "Betul (Engkau Tuhan kami), kami bersaksi." (Kami lakukan yang demikian itu) agar di hari Kiamat kamu tidak mengatakan, "Sesungguhnya ketika itu kami lengah terhadap ini,"

আর স্মরণ করুন, যখন আপনার রব আদম-সন্তানের পিঠ থেকে তার বংশধরকে বের করেন এবং তাদের নিজেদের সম্বদ্ধে স্বীকারোক্তি গ্রহণ করেন এবং বলেন, ‘আমি কি তোমাদের রব নই?’ তারা বলেছিল, ‘হ্যাঁ অবশ্যই, আমরা সাক্ষী রইলাম।’ এটা এ জন্যে যে, তোমরা যেন কিয়ামতের দিন না বল, ‘আমরা তো এ বিষয়ে গাফেল ছিলাম।‘
