Surah Ali 'Imran Ayah 110 (3:110)

You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and his Sunnah] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma‘rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh - and rebellious against Allâh’s Command).

Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors

تم بہترین امت ہو جو لوگوں کے لئے پیدا کی گئی ہے کہ تم نیک باتوں کا حکم کرتے ہو اور بری باتوں سے روکتے ہو، اور اللہ تعالیٰ پر ایمان رکھتے ہو ، اگر اہل کتاب بھی ایمان ﻻتے تو ان کے لئے بہتر تھا، ان میں ایمان والے بھی ہیں لیکن اکثر تو فاسق ہیں.

Kamu (umat Islam) adalah umat terbaik yang dilahirkan untuk manusia, (karena kamu) menyuruh (berbuat) yang makruf, dan mencegah dari yang mungkar, dan beriman kepada Allah. Sekiranya Ahli Kitab beriman, tentulah itu lebih baik bagi mereka. Di antara mereka ada yang beriman, namun kebanyakan mereka adalah orang-orang fasik.

তোমরাই শ্রেষ্ঠ উম্মত, মানব জাতির জন্য যাদের বের করা হয়েছে; তোমরা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দিবে, অসৎকাজে নিষেধ করবে এবং আল্লাহ্‌র উপর ঈমান আনবে। আর আহলে কিতাবগণ যদি ঈমান আনতো তবে তা ছিল তাদের জন্য ভালো। তাদের মধ্যে কিছু সংখ্যক মুমিন আছে; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই ফাসেক।
