Surah Ali 'Imran Ayah 120 (3:120)

If a good befalls you, it grieves them, but if some evil overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaqûn [the pious - See V.2:2], not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, Allâh surrounds all that they do.

If a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto them, and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat. But if ye persevere and keep from evil their guile will never harm you. Lo! Allah is Surrounding what they do

If aught that is good befalls you, it grieves them; but if some misfortune overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if ye are constant and do right, not the least harm will their cunning do to you; for Allah Compasseth round about all that they do

تمہیں اگر بھلائی ملے تو یہ ناخوش ہوتے ہیں ہاں! اگر برائی پہنچے تو خوش ہوتے ہیں ، تم اگر صبر کرو اور پرہیزگاری کرو تو ان کا مکر تمہیں کچھ نقصان نہ دے گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انکے اعمال کا احاطہ کر رکھا ہے.

Jika kamu memperoleh kebaikan, (niscaya) mereka bersedih hati, tetapi jika kamu tertimpa bencana, mereka bergembira karenanya. Jika kamu bersabar dan bertakwa, tipu daya mereka tidak akan menyusahkan kamu sedikit pun. Sungguh, Allah Maha Meliputi segala apa yang mereka kerjakan.

তোমাদের মঙ্গল হলে তা তাদেরকে কষ্ট দেয় আর তোমাদের অমঙ্গল হলে তারা তাতে আনন্দিত হয়। তোমরা যদি ধৈর্যশীল হও এবং মুত্তাকী হও তবে তাদের ষড়যন্ত্র তোমাদের কিছুই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। তারা যা করে নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা পরিবেষ্টন করে রয়েছেন।
