Surah Ali 'Imran Ayah 30 (3:30)

On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil. And Allâh warns you against Himself (His punishment) and Allâh is full of kindness to (His) slaves.

On the Day when every soul will find itself confronted with all that it hath done of good and all that it hath done of evil (every soul) will long that there might be a mighty space of distance between it and that (evil). Allah biddeth you beware of Him. And Allah is Full of Pity for (His) bondmen

On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him

جس دن ہر نفس (شخص) اپنی کی ہوئی نیکیوں کو اور اپنی کی ہوئی برائیوں کو موجود پالے گا، آرزو کرے گا کہ کاش! اس کے اور برائیوں کے درمیان بہت ہی دوری ہوتی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں اپنی ذات سے ڈرا رہا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں پر بڑا ہی مہربان ہے۔

(Ingatlah) pada hari (ketika) setiap jiwa mendapatkan (balasan) atas kebajikan yang telah dikerjakan ada dihadapannya, (begitu juga balasan) atas kejahatan yang telah dia kerjakan. Dia berharap sekiranya ada jarak yang jauh antara dia dengan (hari) itu. Dan Allah memperingatkan kamu akan diri (siksa)-Nya. Allah Maha Penyayang terhadap hamba-hamba-Nya.

যেদিন প্রত্যেকে সে যা ভাল আমল করেছে এবং সে যা মন্দ কাজ করেছে তা উপস্থিত পাবে, সেদিন সে কামনা করবে- যদি তার এবং এর মধ্যে বিশাল ব্যবধান থাকত! আল্লাহ্‌ তাঁর নিজের সম্বন্ধে তোমাদেরকে সাবধান করছেন। আর আল্লাহ্‌ বান্দাদের প্রতি অত্যন্ত স্নেহশীল।
