وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا ٩٨
Wakam ahlaknaa qablahum min qarn, hal tuhissu minhum min ahadin aw tasma`u lahum rikzaa
And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?

And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them?
And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound
But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them
ہم نے ان سے پہلے بہت سی جماعتیں تباہ کر دی ہیں، کیا ان میں سے ایک کی بھی آہٹ تو پاتا ہے یا ان کی آواز کی بھنک بھی تیرے کان میں پڑتی ہے؟
Dan berapa banyak umat yang telah Kami binasakan sebelum mereka. Adakah engkau (Muhammad) melihat salah seorang dari mereka atau engkau mendengar bisikan mereka?
আর তাদের আগে আমরা বহু প্রজন্মকে বিনাশ করেছি! আপনি কি তাদের কারো অস্তিত্ব অনুভব করেন অথবা ক্ষীণতম শব্দও শুনতে পান?
